BookCrafts – Creative Workshop

Join The Friends for a creative workshop

We are hosting an easy creative craft activity for book lovers. We provide the materials, just bring your creativity.

• Date: Tuesday, September 17th
• Time: 6:00pm-7:30pm
• Location: Main Library, conference room C (off the Lower Urban Room lobby downstairs) 210 East 400 South, validations available for underground parking

The Friends of The Salt Lake City Library often receive donated books that are falling apart or damaged. These books usually go to recycling, until now! We have rescued the pages of damaged books and given them a new life as up-cycled crafts.

This creative workshop will feature three (easy!) craft projects you can do while chatting with other book lovers. We will transform book pages into paper beads for DIY jewelry, book-ish autumnal garlands, and cute collage magnets.

• FREE ADMISSION for Members of The Friends of The Salt Lake City Library
  (includes three craft kits)
• $5 ADMISSION for the public (includes three craft kits)
• Additional craft kits will be available to take home for just $5 each.

This activity is intended for adult participants (16+ recommended). The Friends of The Salt Lake City Library also hosts craft activities for kids.
